Composite portraits are composed of multiple subjects’ complex system of identity. The overlapping and ghosting of images creates an amalgam. Each stratum reveals fragments of identity, multiple woodcut impressions between layers of painting and drawing . The substrate stretched canvas was created to accommodate point-to-point contact throughout the surface to facilitate hand printing.
