Only a few weeks left to see Will To Meaning in Rochester, MN
The installation will close end-of-day May 12, 2024. It has been so wonderful to have it on view for the past year and a half. Thank you to the amazing Pam Hughdal, Director of the Rochester Art Center, for the incredibly generative opportunity. Click here to see the catalog of the entire exhibition.
122 Conversations at MSP Airport Continues
Please see this new, very short video of 122 Conversations: Person to Person, Art Beyond Borders at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It has been installed there since 2019. Sharing my artwork at a site that sees over 30 million people per year is both humbling and an incredible honor. When at the airport, I hope you will have a chance to view it.
CODAmagazine: Experiential Art
I am delighted to share that the Well-Being Wall, 2023, from my exhibition the Nexus of Well-Being and Art at the Rochester Art Center in 2023, is a Featured Project in CODAmagazine: Experiential Art Interactive Art Installations. This issue highlights public artworks that engage audiences on multiple sensory levels. I am especially honored because CODAworx is the preeminent connector for artists and public art commissions in the USA.
The Well-Being Wall was a place for visitors to express themselves creatively. Visitors were asked to respond to the prompt: What does well-being mean to you? Using markers, each visitor created their response on a square developed and provided by myself. A large hanging grid was provided for the visitor to place their own work within the evolving section of the exhibition. Before they left the exhibition, they were invited to take a sticker as a gratitude gift. Click here for a short video of the Well-Being Wall.
