The landscape paintings encompass rudimentary printmaking utilizing collected leaves, twigs, fronds and petals; outlines and remnants of leaves appear throughout the work suspended amidst color and texture. The embedded representational marks encapsulate the natural elements of sun, wind and light into the works. The end result is a compilation of moments in time of a seascape, landscape or within the lifecycle of an individual tree, documenting their histories through the obliteration and redefinition of the layers.
